DRAFT Class Syllabus & Schedule for Spring 2005:

The Biology of Parasitism (CBio8500) class will meet:

Mondays: 3:35 p.m.
Wednesdays: 9 a.m.
Fridays: 9 a.m

in Room #341 on the third floor of the Paul Coverdell Building. Individual lectures and seminars will be hot linked to a page containing additional information, lecture notes, papers for download and links to related sites as the course proceeds. If available the papers covered in the seminars are posted as pdf files (you will need the free adobe acrobat reader to read these files on your computer). In any case all journals used are available at the UGA Science Library  and copies of papers for duplication can also be checked out fromBoris Striepen's office Room #310 Covedell Bldg.

Note that several Cellular Biology Seminars  (Tuesdays at 11 a.m., Room 404A Biological Sciences Bldg.) feature molecular parasitology and immunology talks during the spring semester. The CTEGD Journal Club  provides additional opportunity to discuss new papers related to this course every second monday.
